nett0eth: engineer, developer and designer, in crypto since 2017. Read The Creator.
Do I need a wallet or an NFT?
No. Codex Pets, Plush Pets and the District are free for everyone. The NFT is a separate portal, opening later.
What are Codex Pets and Plush Pets?
Features we launched before the collection: the 25 base cats as companions in the OpenAI Codex app. Codex Pets are the pixel versions. Plush Pets are the same cats in felt, also usable in ChatGPT Dots.
How do I install one?
Easiest: paste the Ask Codex prompt from Plush Pets. Or use $weird-cats lucky from Codex Pets.
Does it work on Windows, Mac and Linux?
The installers come in PowerShell for Windows and shell for macOS and Linux. The Windows installer has been tested on Windows. The macOS script has not yet been tested on a real Mac.
What is the District?
A free pixel world in your browser. Walk around, meet all 25 cats and leave with a 25-cat selfie card.
What is the Weirdlist?
Your way in early for the mint. Print your ticket in the room, bring friends with your link and climb the ranking: the top mints free. Step by step: the Weirdlist.
Do I connect my wallet to the Weirdlist?
No. You paste the address you will mint with. No connect, no signature, never a seed phrase.
How much is the mint?
Not announced yet.
What happens after the mint?
The Arcade opens to holders first. Then the portal keeps opening. New chapters are announced on @weirdcats_nft only when they are decided.
Which chain?

Is this affiliated with OpenAI or Robinhood?
No. Weird Cats is independent. Codex Pets and Plush Pets are fan-made community pets for the Codex and ChatGPT apps.
