Features
Plush Pets
The same 25 cats in felt, as animated pets for Codex and ChatGPT Dots.
A feature we shipped before the collection. They work as Codex Pets and in ChatGPT Dots, the little companion in the ChatGPT desktop app. Each felt cat floats, blinks, follows your cursor with its eyes, thinks in three dots while the agent works, asks with a ? when it needs you, and lights a bulb when the result is ready.
Make yours
The Plushifier at weirdcats.xyz/plush is a small arcade machine: pick a cat, press PLUSHIFY, and the pixel cat comes out as felt. Try its seven moves (idea, think, hop, wave, sparkle, vibe, nani), share it on X as a card or GIF, and install it.
Install
All three paths end the same way: restart Codex or ChatGPT, open Settings, Pets, and pick a cat whose name ends in Weird Cats Plush Pets. Optionally use it in ChatGPT Dots too.
Ask Codex (no terminal)
Install the Weird Cats Plush Pets into my Codex pets by following https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nett0eth/weird-cats-plush-pets/main/AGENTS.md
Only want a few? Add them, for example "only Lucky and Prism".
One click, or the terminal
The Plushifier page gives you a one-click codex:// link for the cat you selected. From a terminal:
# Windows (PowerShell) irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nett0eth/weird-cats-plush-pets/main/install/install.ps1 | iex # macOS / Linux curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nett0eth/weird-cats-plush-pets/main/install/install.sh | sh
